With the help of Croatian Jesuits, SKAC (The Student Catholic Center) Osijek, founded in 2018, has for the first time organized spiritual camps in the Franciscan Monastery of St. Domnius on the island of Pašman. The first two weeks were for young people, during which they contemplated the topic “How to Be Friends with Jesus.” Some 50 young people participated in the first two weeks of the program. The third week of the program was dedicated to Christian activism and the fourth week to Ignatian spiritual exercises for young people. The goal of the latter was to help young people know themselves more deeply, to deepen their relationship with God, to rid themselves of their illordered attachments, and to discover God’s will for their lives. Finally, in the fifth week, a program for veterans of the Croatian Homeland War and young people was organized. During that time, participants focused on prayer and the testimony of veterans.
